Had a whole host of BAD people down in my neck of the woods for the last few days. They travelled down on Monday after Gosport Regional and arrived to swirling sea mist and miserable weather. On Tuesday a few of them went swimming whilst others had a session at The-Track at Portreath ( http://www.the-track.co.uk/) and then came over to my track at Blackwater ( http://www.cornwallbmx.co.uk/ ) in the evening to session it, arriving in sea mist again but the evening brightening up later. Wednesday saw another session at The-Track but this time all the riders were involved from 11-6 followed by racing with the Duchy Pirates ( http://duchypirates.co.uk/ ) in the evening. The-Track is a bikers' paradise with trails jumps, resi-ramp, racetrack and pump track. And Imust mention the foampit which after seeing Tony Slater jump his 20" into it and Matt Oaten bottle out of doing it, I just had to do on Matt's Dialled 20" (a video and picture was taken to prove it) to certify me completely bonkers!! Must be the oldest person to jump into it!! The BAD pikeys were last seen convoying towards Cheddar today with gates at Burnham tonight and riding the Cheddar track before returning towards London on Friday. Great to catch up with a few of the old crowd and just a shame the weather let them down somewhat. Humps |
