I am a student of College du Saint Esprit in Mauritius. As part of my School Certificate(Ord. Level) conducted by University of Cambridge, I am required to complete a course work for my Design and Communication module. Among various topics proposed, I have chosen one which is related to BMX race track. For ease of reference, I herein enclose an extract of the project brief.



In essence, my focus at this stage lies on the following :

1.    Gathering information about existing BMX track, their design, performance and the facilities they include, in order to establish a list of design criteria and find innovative ideas to be developed and incorporated in my design.

2.    Research exiting BMX track location and establish a list of criteria to choose appropriate sites for a BMX race track.

3.    Devise suitable testing criteria to test my proposed design in terms of performance, safety, facility use and as an overall public entertainment facility




All in a attempt to produce the design of a 500 meters BMX race track with state of the art facilities.



My reseach over the internet and various other sources lead me to you organisation. Besides being a reference standard in BMX, your organisation attract a fair bit of users both professional and amatuer, which is inline with my objectives for this project. I would appreciate if you could please forward me any relevant information on the above matter.
