As some of you may know i work in a bike shop in Barkingside. Weve recently branched out , and started http://www.TritonBicycleCo.com at the moment we only have the trials frame for sale. My Question is Do you think there would be much demand for a Titanium race bmx? Or do you think the price would be to high compared to other race frames in the market? Is there any features you would like to see? Custom Geometry is not a problem either? Also Ti Bmx forks are availble to us , Would these be of any interest? Any feedback would be greatly apreacted. We have Street bmx pegs coming in on the next order along with Titanium bar caps. As small parts. Cheers Lukeee |

Don't know how involved in the race scene you are or how long for but there was (many moons ago!!) the Titan frames and also Phase 2. They were mega popular with the kids up to about 11 yrs do to the fact they were so damn light. May be worth looking at modelling some titanium frames on the old Titan size 1,2,3 and 4 to see how they will sell.
10-15 years ago all the best little guys had a Titan. |

Depends where the titanium comes from i had a Kona hei hei tite MTB frame that went for £1500 way back, but I think merlin did a frame for a lot less
I'd be up for a light strong frame that does need painting etc etc. all you need is lemon juice and wire wool to keep clean |

Hello mate, can't get onto your new site, says i'm Forbidden??? Ti frame and forks, light and strong, perfect material for BMX, price would be the only problem, that I can see. If you ever get a sample and need it race tested - give me a shout. Mad Mart |

Oh Sorry, it's a term used on another forum, it gets the thread active "Bumps" it into view. I thought it was a universal term |
